- NSCS Mission Statement
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars
is the nationís premiere honor organization
for high achieving students. Founded in
1994 at The George Washington University in
Washington, D.C., NSCS recognizes
outstanding academic achievement among
first- and second-year college students.
Membership is based on grade point average
and class standing, and is by invitation
only. NSCS aims to honor, inspire and
engage its members, and offers benefits
including scholarships, leadership
development, travel opportunities and career
NSCS has active chapters at 226 colleges and
universities nationwide, in all 50 states,
the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Chapters are involved in service to their
campus and local communities, as well as
scholastic and social activities.

Amanda has white water rafted,
jumped out of a plane at 13,500 ft., Jet and Snow
Skiied, and ridden every roller coaster you can
imagine from the Top Fuel Dragster at Cedar Point to
the World Famous Beast at King's Island.
Amanda only knows one thing about fear ... "It's
to be mastered!"
